Our beginning
Spede was born of the efforts of Douglas W. Myers in a garage circa 1938. At that time only one product was manufactured, a deglazing cylinder hone for hydraulic brake systems.
1956
Spedecut moved from the garage to a small warehouse on Rush street in El Monte, CA. but space began to become hard to come by ...
1974
The business had grown to the point the Spedecut needed more room, we moved into a new 11,000 sq ft facility on Barringer in El Monte
Customer satisfaction ramped growth until once again we needed more space. Deciding to build to meet our needs in Adelanto with a 18,250 sq ft custom facility on 5 acres.
1989
With plenty of workspace and an expanding product line ... growth was inevitable
So Spedecut grew
1999
More room was needed as we approached the new millenium, the addition of 18,500 sq ft brought us to 36,750 sq ft of production and warehousing capacity.
